City Recorder – $15.00 Hourly Starting
We are recruiting for a full-time City Recorder.
The City Recorder will act as the City’s Chief Executive Officer, head of the administrative branch of the City government and is directly responsible to the Mayor and City Council for the proper administration of all affairs of the City.
Job Duties and Skills needed.
The will need to Attends all City Council meetings and other city meetings as required. This will require to work evenings.
Provide Public Relations about City and surrounding communities as well as Jefferson County
They need to have 2-3 years of experience working with Quickbooks
Must be able to handle all accounts payable & receivable
6-months- 1 year at a minimum experience working in or with Municipality groups
They will be processing payroll, taxes & employee benefits
They must be skilled and accurate with data entry skills
They will be working with a diverse group of people so they must be a team player
They will need to have at least a High School diploma or equivalent
Must have Driver’s License and must be able to pass pre-employment screening guidelines.
