  • Experience in a variety of computer applications, particularly Windows applications, desirable
  • Experience in marketing and customer service





  • Ability to learn and apply product, industry and market knowledge to provide suitable recommendations to potential and existing clients
  • Ability to conduct needs based marketing interviews with potential and existing clients
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to effectively relate to customers
  • Strong listening, oral, and written communications skills, Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Ability to take initiative and act effectively both individually and as a member of a team without direction
  • Ability to create and maintain professional business relationships with prospects, policyholders, co-workers, and associates within the organization
  • Ability to learn and become proficient with various computer applications
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain strong organizational skills
  • Ability to remain positive and maintain progress towards a goal in spite of obstacles and adversity




  • Successfully complete and maintain all state, federal and other requirements – – including licensing – to market and service designated  products and services
  • Complete training as required, including Compliance and Information Security Awareness
  • Remain current in all Continuing Education (CE) courses as required




  • Contact prospects and current customers to generate interest in appointments
  • Create and facilitate product presentations to potential and existing clients
  • Conduct needs based marketing interviews
  • Utilize agency and computer applications, as required and available
  • Accurately prepare forms, policies, endorsements when required
  • Follow up with customers and keep the other staff informed
  • Provide prompt, professional customer service
  • Participate in training and team meetings as requested
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the company
